We collect the health and contact information you provide as a patient, including your name, date of birth, contact details, and information relevant to your care. If you give us a mobile phone number, we use it only for the purposes described in our Text Messaging Program Terms.

How we use it

We use your information to provide your care, to communicate with you about appointments and recommended follow-up, and to meet our legal and billing obligations as a medical practice. We do not sell your information.

Text messaging and your mobile number

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected by Felton Family Care, Inc. are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers with anyone for marketing. Numbers are used only to send you messages about your own care, as described in our Text Messaging Program Terms, and are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers those messages on our behalf. Our text messages never contain medical information — no diagnoses, test results, medications or treatment details — only appointment reminders and links. Anything you fill in through a link is entered on our own secure system, not sent by text message.

Your health information

As a medical practice, our use of your protected health information is also governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available at our office on request.
